About Us

British International school is a combination of a preschool, Grade one, Activity school and a day care centre. Our reputation as one of the best English medium international school in Sri Lanka, bears a history of two decades. Inspired by the beautiful concept of childhood education, a small preschool with three students named “World-vision International school” was started in 1999. Currently developed into a well- known “British International School” with four wings, a pre-school, a first grade, activity school and a day care centre. Located in Kiribathgoda, Sri Lanka. Right now, we have our own space which is a home away from home to 90 precious souls.

Throughout our journey here, what we treasured was pure minds. The quality we maintained for years is the quality we offer through our localized British curriculums, the activities we included in our curriculums, the methods we employed in teaching and the other facilities we provide including swimming pool (15*40), outdoor sand paly area, indoor water play area, library, kiddies’ theatre, art and craft room, ballet room, music room, speech and drama room. Moreover, the courses we designed are catering the psychological expectations of kids. For all these twenty years, we were nurturing the brains of the children while protecting their tender hearts. In fact, as British International School we have the brighter plans for our future. Those plans cover the expectations of children, institute, parents and the country. Our victory is the growth of your child into a noble young man or women with a universe of a mind.
